It must be used to connect the RSM accessories (see page 46) to the radio. If the RSM is not used, the adapter should be removed. Charging in non-Motorola equipment may lead to battery damage and void the battery warranty. Motorola-authorized battery chargers may not charge batteries other than the ones listed on page 44.
