Every time the transceiver is transmitting a command the transmitting indicator will be displayed on the LCD panel. See the Command Summary for more details. • Mongoose EMS 1.7R, User’s Guide EMS 1.7R 4 Hand Held LCD Transceiver Features Clock Time To adjust the time use the below procedure: Press button S and Button M at the same time for 3 seconds. The Hour’s digits will start to flash. Press Button 1 to increase the hours by 1 hour per press and Button 2 to decrease the hour by one hour per press. Press button 3 to confirm that the hour’s digits are correct. Once the Hours have been confirmed by pressing button 3, the minute’s digits will start to flash. (When no transmitters are available) The EMS 1.7R allows setting of either a onedigit or a twodigit PIN code. The Emergency Disarming procedure depends on PIN Code you have set. If you have set OneDigit PIN Code To override the alarm system when no transmitter is available press the override button the number of times equal to the PIN code (one digit PIN code) with the ignition on and then turn the ignition off. When the alarm is armed and the doors lock the siren will beep once and the indicators will flash once, the LED will flash slowly to indicate that the system is armed. The LCD Transceiver will confirm the alarm system is armed with a beep, and the LCD screen will display an armed state. Defective Zone Warning If any door, trunk, or hood is not shut properly while arming the siren will emit three additional beeps and the indicators will flash three times. When the alarm system is disarmed, the siren will chirp three times, the indicators will flash twice, the LED will turn off and the central door locking will unlock. • Mongoose EMS 1.7R, Two Way Car Alarm System MONGOOSE EMS 1.7R 11 ENGLISH  Silent Disarm Pressing button 1 immediately before button 2 is pressed will disarm the alarm system without beeping the siren unit. All other features including the indicator flashes will remain the same. Note: If the alarm is giving the driver a warning such four flash warning that the alarm has been triggered, the alarm system will beep the siren even if it is overridden by the remote or the software switch. Fault warnings take priority over silent disarming.  Sensor Override Mode Press button 1 twice within 3 seconds while arming will cause the alarm to arm with perimeter protection only.

When armed with engine running the alarm system will arm with:   Perimeter Protection only  Arm Output will be remain off  The Comfort Output will activate for 20 seconds  Internal Immobiliser relay will be disarmed  Sensor sockets will be disabled. Alternatively, if the ignition is switched off and the doors remain closed for 10 minutes, the passive immobiliser will arm. Notes: i) If the alarm system is disarmed and the Passive Immobiliser has been selected with programming, the immobiliser will never disarm. In order to disarm the immobiliser, you must press the disarm authorization button (buttons). Note that this applies regardless of whether the Passive Immobiliser was armed or disarmed before the a

All other sensors and the starter kill will remain activated when the sensor is by passed.  LED Display of Transmitters Learnt Every time the ignition is switched on the LED will flash in a sequence to indicate the number of transmitters learnt to the alarm system memory.
