• Judge JEA39, Black Cordless Kettle Before rst use 1. Remove any labels and/or swingtickets. 2. Wash the inside of the Kettle Body 1 with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse and dry. 3. Wipe the outside of the Kettle Body 1 , Lid 3 and Filter 8 with a cloth, using liquid detergent and warm water. • DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE KETTLE IN WATER. 4. Ensure that the Filter 8 (see inset) is inserted inside the Kettle behind the Spout 2 . • Locate lug A of the Filter 8 in the slot at the bottom of the spout outlet. • Judge JEA39, Black Cordless Kettle • TAKE CARE WITH VERY HOT WATER. • Once the water has cooled, it can be reheated by pressing the On/Off Switch 7 . This will not function while the water is still hot. • THE KETTLE HAS OVERHEATING PROTECTION, WHICH WILL AUTOMATICALLY SWITCH IT OFF. HOWEVER, YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE NOT TO ALLOW IT TO BOIL DRY. Cleaning & Care • Allow the Kettle to cool completely before cleaning. 1. Wash the inside of the Kettle Body 1 and Filter 8 with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse and dry. • The Filter 8 can be removed for cleaning.
