Using icons, it displays information about your camera and some of the settings that you selected, including the following: ◗ Status of the batteries. Select your shutter speed based on these criteria: 1/100: High-energy type external flash (typically over 1500 watts) 1/200: Low-energy type external flash (typically under 1500 watts) 4. When the ePhoto CL30 is not connected to a computer, the camera powers down automatically after 60 seconds (REC or PLAY) of inac- tivity. To turn the camera back on, press the EasyPilot button. Whenever a picture is taken, the external flash is triggered by a low-power burst of light from the camera’s built-in flash. Before you can take pic- tures, install the batteries and a CompactFlash memory card. To take pictures: 1. Slide the Mode switch to REC. 2. So it is important to make sure that the date and time are set properly. The date is shown in the following format: mm/dd/yyyy (month/day/year). The time uses a 24-hour clock.
