• 15 3 Connecting the VDSL modem to the computer Before connecting the modem to your computer, insert the splitter that you received with the modem into the main telephone wall jack of the house. The wireless connection is activated by the factory settings of the VDSL2 modem. Consequently you can connect wirelessly to the VDSL2 modem and, therefore, to the Internet, provided that your computer supports this function and you have applied the required settings.
