(see Battery C harging section for further instructions). Freewheel Device When the vehicle is switched off the brakes are automatically e ngaged. This is called “Failsafe Braking”. Also, if the batteries are flat, the brakes are applied. There may be occasions where you may wish to move the vehicle without power. To do this there is a Freewheel Device fitted. (indicating green on the battery indicator) • There is no sign of damage to the scooter. All adjustment thumb-wheels are fully tightened. Never connect or disconnect the charger with the mains on. 4. Connect the charger to the charging point on the rear of the scooter as above. 5. Connect the mains plug and switch on. 6.
