Note: to ensure that this meas- urement is accurate, check the oil level on horizontal ground after the engine has been switched off for at least 15 minutes. Good Bad Pliers 1 Replacing a fuse Before replacing a fuse, you should ascertain the cause of the fault and have it remedied. The numbers of the fuses are indicated on the fuse- box. Replace the fuse that has blown with one of the same rating (same colour). Use the special pliers 1 placed on the fl ap close to the fuseboxes. The fl ap also

Operation When starting the engine, lights located along the dashboard are activated. Ambient central console lighting These lights are located on the roof console, near the front interior lamp. They light up the central con- sole. • CITROEN C5 2008, 161 VI A F U E L If you should put in fuel that is not suitable for your vehicle's engine type, it is imperative to have the tank drained before you start the engine again. While you are refuelling, the engine must be stopped and the ignition switched off. For a petrol engine with a cata- lytic converter, unleaded fuel is compulsory. The fi ller neck is narrower to ensure that only unleaded petrol can be put in. When you are seeking to fi ll your tank, do not persist after the third cut-off ; this could cause your vehicle to malfunction.
