Text of Express AS18 User Guide:

• Express AS18, The WW Express Boilers AS18 System is a high efficiency condensing, fully automatic, wall mounted gas appliance for use with natural gas. The appliance incorporates a microprocessor based, fully modulating pre-mix gas control system with direct burner ignition. The AS18 System provides central heating outputs between 6.0 kW (20,500 BTU/h) and 18.0 kW (61,500 BTU/h). Heat output is controlled according to demand by the fully modulating pre-mix burner control. The appliance incorporates frost protection. However this is not operational when the main electrical supply to the appliance is isolated. Gas Consumer Council The Gas Consumer Council

• Express AS18, 4.6 PRESSURE GAUGE The pressure gauge on the control fascia panel indicates the central heating system pressure. If the normal running pressure is seen to decrease from the original installation pressure of around 1 bar (cold) over a period of time, then there may be a water leak. In this event consult a CORGI registered installer. Do not attempt to fire the boiler if the pressure has reduced to zero from the original setting.
