• LG HR500, 48 Operation Operation 4 Timer Recording (EPG) You can also set the timer based on the information provided by the EPG. 1. While watching TV, press GUIDE. 2. Use I / i to select date  eld, and select the date of recording schedule using U / u . 3. Use I / i to select programme  eld, and set the programme using U / u . 4. Use I / i to select the programme list, and select a programme you want to record using U / u . 5. Press z REC. For the successfully scheduled programme, a red bullet mark appears. A

• LG HR500, 50 Operation Operation 4 General Playback Playing Discs 1. Press OPEN/CLOSE( Z ) and place a disc on the disc tray. 2. Press OPEN/CLOSE( Z ) to close the disc tray. For the most Audio CD, BD-ROM and DVD-ROM discs, playback starts automatically. 3. Press HOME. 4. Select [Movie], [Photo] or [Music] using U / u / I / i , and press ENTER ( ). 5. Select the [Data] option using I / i , and press ENTER ( ). This step is needed only when a disc and/or a USB device is connected simultaneously in this unit. 6. Select a stored ID on the list and press ENTER ( ) to display the keyboard menu with the selected ID is entered. You will then only need to enter the password to sign in. Select the [X] symbol and press ENTER ( ) to delete the stored ID.

The network user ID and password will be remembered after accssing the folder for your convenience. If your source is copy-protected, you cannot record it using this recorder. If you set a DTV rating for the recorder and higher rated digital programs are received, the programme cannot be recorded. Please use the recorder following the guidelines below to protect against possible HDD failure. Do not move the recorder while it is on. Do not use the damaged HDD. Product can be damaged. Install and use a recorder on a stable, level surface. Do not use the recorder in excessively hot or humid places, or in places that may be subject to sudden changes in temperature. In the example con guration for wireless connection below, this unit would be able to access content from either of the PCs. The network con guration and connection method may vary depending on t he equipment in use and the network environment. This player is equipped with an IEEE 802.11n (2.4 GHz band only) wireless module, which also supports the 802.11b/g standards. For the best wireless performance, we recommend using a IEEE 802.11n certi ed Wi-Fi network (access point or wireless router).
