Electric Mirrors (if equipped) 68PH00232 The switch to control the electric mirrors is located on the driver’s door panel. You can adjust the mirrors when the ignition switch is in the “ACC” or “ON” position, or the igni- tion mode is “ACC” or “ON”. To adjust the mirrors: 1) Move the selector switch to the left or right to select the mirror you wish to adjust. 2) Press the outer part of the switch that corresponds to the direction in which you wish to move the mirror. 3)

The weight capacities of your vehicle are indicated by the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and the Permissible maximum Axle Weight (PAW, front and rear). The GVWR and PAW (front and rear) are listed in the “SPECIFICA- TIONS” section. GVWR – Maximum permissible overall weight of the fully loaded vehicle (including all the occupants, accessories and cargo plus the trailer nose weight if towing a trailer). Petrol/Ethanol blends Blends of unleaded petrol and ethanol (grain alcohol), also known as gasohol, are commercially available in some areas. Blends of this type may be used in your vehicle if they are no more than 10% etha- nol. Make sure this petrol-ethanol blend has octane ratings no lower than those recommended for petrol. To lock a rear door from outside the vehi- cle, turn the lock knob forward and close the door. You do not need to pull and hold the door handle as you close the door. NOTE: Be sure to hold the door handle when you close a locked front door, or the door will not remain locked. If condensation forms on the disc, wipe it off with a soft cloth. If condensation forms on the optical parts of the player, do not use the player for about one hour. • Nexa BALENO 2016, 3-6 OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE 68PH0-74E Keyless Push Start System (if equipped) Provided the keyless push start system remote controller is within the “interior workable area” (refer to the related expla- nation in this section), you can use the engine switch for starting the engine and selecting an ignition mode (“ACC” or “ON”). In addition, the following functions can be used: • Keyless entry function. Refer to “Keyless Push Start System Remote Controller” in the “BEFORE DRIVING” section for details. • Locking and unlocking doors (including the tailgate) using a request switch. Refer to “Keyless Push Start System

The sport mode is suitable for the following driving conditions: • Driving on hilly, winding roads – You can drive more smoothly with less frequent gear changing • Going down a steep hill – Some engine braking is provided Gearshift lever 68PH00313 (1) Knob button The gearshift lever is designed so that it cannot be shifted out of the “P” position unless the ignition switch is in the “ON” position and the brake pedal is depressed. MARUTI SUZUKI recommends to use the diesel fuel conformable to EN590. Do not use marine diesel fuel, heating oils and so forth. NOTICE The fuel tank has an air space to allow for fuel expansion in hot weather. If you continue to add fuel after the filler nozzle has automati- cally shut off or an initial blowback occurs, the air chamber will become full.
