• AVS AVS 3010+, Thank you for choosing the AVS 3010 car alarm. It has been designed to provide security and convenience for you and your vehicle. Please read this guide carefully and keep it in a safe place for future reference. Remote controls Two remotes are supplied and are used to control the system’s functions. The remotes have rolling codes (4 billion codes) to prevent scanning and code grabbing devices. Remote batteries Each remote is fitted with CR1616 x 2 long life Lithium batteries. Replacement batteries are available from electrical retailers or AVS dealers. REPLACE THE REMOTE BATTERIES

• AVS AVS 3010+, ARMING 1. Press the top button (nearest the LED light). 2. The indicators will flash once and the siren will chirp once. 3. The doors will lock (if optional central locking installed). 4. The LED light on the dash will light solid for 20 seconds. 5. The LED light will then start flashing. The system is now armed. Normal operation Alarm trigger If a door, bonnet or boot is opened or the shock sensor is triggered while the system is armed the siren will sound and the indicators will flash for 30 seconds. The

• Disarming 1. Press the bottom button. 2. The indicators will flash and the siren will chirp three times. 3. The doors will unlock (if optional central locking installed). 4. • AVS AVS 3010+, Panic/car finder Valet mode 1. Make sure the car ignition is turned off. 2. Press the top button on the remote for two seconds. 3. The indicators will flash and the siren will sound for 30 seconds. 4. To cancel panic, press the top button again. This mode will stop the alarm arming. It is a useful if your vehicle is being serviced or repaired. In valet mode only central locking from the top button (if connected) and boot release from the bottom button (if connected) of the remote will operate. TURN VALET MODE ON 1. Disarm the alarm. 2. Turn the ignition on. 3. Push and hold

• AVS AVS 3010+, The AVS 3010 comes with a dual stage shock sensor. If the sensor detects a light impact to the vehicle the alarm will chirp the siren and flash the indicators three times. If the sensor detects a heavy impact the system will enter full alarm mode. DISABLE THE SHOCK SENSOR The shock sensor can be temporarily turned off. 1. Arm the alarm. 2. Press the top button on the remote again within two seconds. 3. The siren will give a long chirp. The shock sensor is now disabled. The next time the alarm is armed the shock sensor will automatically turn back on. The

• AVS AVS 3010+, Emergency disarm/PIN code override IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Emergency disarm allows you to override the system if the remotes are lost or broken (or the remote batteries are flat) so you can start the car. HOW TO USE PIN CODE FOR EMERGENCY DISARM 1. Open the driver’s door. The siren will sound. 2. Enter the car and close the door. 3. Within 30 seconds turn the ignition from OFF to ACC back to OFF the number of times for your PIN code and leave in the OFF position. 4. Wait 30 seconds until the siren stops. If the code is correct the alarm will disarm. If the alarm does not disarm the code was entered incorrectly. Start again from 1. Optional features Optional features are depe

• AVS AVS 3010+, DOOR LOCK ON IGNITION The system will lock the doors when the ignition is on and the brake pedal is touched twice (if central locking is connected). BOOT RELEASE FROM THE REMOTE 1. Make sure the car ignition is turned off. 2. Press the bottom button on the remote for two seconds. 3. The indicators will flash five times and the boot will unlock. SILENT ARM/DISARM The AVS 3010 can be programmed to silently arm and disarm. The indicators will still flash. AUTO RE-ARM AND RE-LOCK The alarm will automatically re-arm and re-lock the doors (if central locking connected) if the system is disarme
