• Bay Technical Associates BayTech DS62, DS62-Network, DS62-MD4 Network/Modem Host Module 17 Serial Port Configuration Handshaking, Baud Rate, Word Size, Stop Bits, and Parity are configured through either the serial or Ethernet ports using the menus. RTS and DTR Line Drivers can only be configured through the phone line via a modem. The default settings are 9600bps, 8 data bits, no parity, one stop bit, RTS and DTR High. IMPORTANT: Changing the Host module serial port configuration could create a communications lock-out if the terminal computer serial port configuration does not match the host module. Select option 1 from the Outlet Group Configuration to verify all outlet groups were deleted. Firmware / Config Download This option allows the admin to flash upgrade the firmware to the Host module through an FTP client. The admin can upload the configuration file, make changes, and download back to the unit. This feature ensures multiple units will have the same configuration without having to manually configure each unit separately.
