• Brookstone IDESIGN, OPERATION TURNING THE UNIT ON/STANDBY Switch the MAIN POWER SWITCH on the back of the unit to ON. Press on top of the tower or on the remote to turn the unit on. The blue POWER LED will illuminate. Press again to put the unit into STANDBY mode. Note: Your iPod/iPhone will charge while it is docked in the unit in Power On and in Stand-by Mode. TURNING OFF THE UNIT Switch the MAIN POWER SWITCH on the back of the unit to OFF. CONNECTING YOUR iPod/iPhone TO THE UNIT 1. Select the correct iPod/iPhone DOCK ADAPTER for your device from the following list, or use the one that came with your iPod/iPhone, and snap it securely into the docking area

Press on the remote to pause playback. FAST-FORWARDING AND REWINDING YOUR SONGS Press and hold or on the remote to rewind or fast-forward within a song. SKIPPING FORWARD AND BACKWARD TO A SONG Press and release or on the remote incrementally to skip forward or backward to a song. ADJUSTING THE VOLUME Press VOLUME or on the remote control or rotate VOLUME KNOB on top of the unit to adjust sound levels. MUTING THE SOUND P

CONNECTING OTHER STEREO COMPONENTS Connect an MP3 Player to the AUX IN jack using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable (included). The unit automatically changes to auxiliary mode. Use your MP3 Player as you normally would. Note: The Remote Control will not control an MP3 Player in auxiliary mode.
