Set your radio to perform a new scan, page 9. 1. Plug in the mains power lead. 2. Insert 4 x D type alkaline batteries (optional). Slide down the battery compartment cover. Insert the batteries (not supplied) as shown and slide the cover shut. When the mains power is switched on or batteries are in, the screen comes on.
