You should see a Sync Now button in the middle of the page. Once you click this button this will start the sync process. The sync time will vary from computer to computer depending on your computers conguration and speed of your Internet connection. The estimated sync time can be used as a guide for the length of your sync. Once the sync has started your uPro Go page will reect a syncing status, Figure 24. It is also used to get to the settings menu while in play. While in any of the menus this button can be used to go back to the previ- ous menu. Mode - If GoMode is enabled this button will take you in and out of GoMode. Right and Left LCD Select - The left and right LCD select buttons

This is the mode that is pre loaded and free of charge on your uPro Go. BasicMode gives distances to the green center, front, and back as well as all hazards. BasicMode consists of two views, Green View and Hazard View. 2.4.1 Green View As shown below n Figure 34, Green View displays distances to the front, center, and back of the green. From Green View Hazard View can be accessed by pressing the Left LCD Select button. You can also start a Mark Shot measurement from Green View by pressing the Ri

Do not place the battery in prolonged direct sunlight or high temperature environments (e.g., vehicle trunks, dashboards, open res, heaters, etc.). The satellite strength indicator provides status on the state of the GPS. When GPS is locked (obtained a position x) then this indicator will show between one and ve bars. If the GPS has not ob- tained a lock then another set of red graphics with the letters “SAT” will be displayed until a GPS lock as been achieved. IMPORTANT: The satellite signal strength indicator provides an indication that you are in Preview Mode during simulate

Due to the extremely precise mapping techniques used on the uPro Go, you have the ability to measure to anywhere on the green and sur- rounding area with exceptional accuracy. See Figure 41. To enter AnyPoint, move the joystick in any direction. Once you move the joystick a red line with a yellow cursor will ap- pear. The distance from your current location to the locating point to by the cursor will be displayed next to the cursor. Use the joystick to move the line and cursor to anywhere on

You will need to sync your device to remove the registration warnings on your device. You can also search the course nder to see if the courses you play are already pre loaded on your uPro Go. NOTE: If you do not sync after registration you will continue to receive registration warnings on your device during play. 1.7

Figure 33 The GO icon indicates if the course is available in GoMode. If you have upgraded to GoMode, you will see a GO icon for every course that is on your device. The Course Version number tells you what version number is loaded on the device. This is helpful to make sure you have the latest version. You can check the version number against the course search results

The backlight is normally adjusted dynami- cally based on the amount of ambient light present to give you the best view ability possible. The default backlight setting is 30%. The UP and DOWN arrows can be used from this prompt to select any hole that you would like as shown in the gure below. Units - This option lets you choose between yards and metres for the display of distances. Font Size (VGV) - This menu option allows you to choose a larger font to be used for all distances displayed in GoMode. Figure 46 illustrates the effect of changing the font. Hole Advance - Disabling of the automatic hole advance functionality can be achieved through this menu item. See sec- tion 2.6 for the different hole advance options. Hole Entry Mod
