About this unit The 340T incorporates sophisticated Alarm and Sleep timer functions that can turn on and off connected Cambridge Audio amplifiers fitted with Control Bus inputs/outputs. A specific version of the azur remote is provided, giving full remote control of the tuner functions in an attractive and easy to use handset. Since the power transformers generate a magnetic hum-field of moderate strength, a turntable should not be located nearby. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. It will also generate a command on the Control Bus that, when connected, will turn off a compatible Cambridge Audio Azur series amplifier (such as the 540A V2.0, 640A V2.0 and 740A).
