Canon DW-100, o IMPORTANT • Observe the following precautions while the firmware is being transferred to the camcorder. - Do not disconnect the USB cable and do not push the DVD Burner's disc tray closed. - Do not turn off the camcorder or the DVD Burner. - Do not disconnect the compact power adapter from the camcorder. • Never insert the HG10 System Update Disc CD-ROM to any device other than the Canon DW-100 DVD Burner. After the information screen described in step 3 is displayed, repeat step 4. o IMPORTANT • Observe the following precautions while the HOD indicator on the camcorder is on or flashing. Indicator does not stop flashing. • Only AVCHD discs created with this burner can be played back. • Discs that have been formatted. recorded ai' edited on other devices may not be playable on this burner. • Check for dirt or scratches on the disc. If the disc is dirty. use a commercially available lens cleaner (cloth). etc .. to wipe off the dirt. • Remove the disc from the burner. • Turn off the burner's power. Canon DW-100, English About error messages displayed when writing discs An error message may be displayed if dust, smudges or scratches are on the disc, if the USB cable is not properly connected, or if the DVD burner is subject to vibrations, If this happens, turn the DVD burner's power off, then disconnect the USB cable and reconnect it. Next, turn the DVD burner's power back on and write the disc again, using a new disc.
