Chrysler 200 2011, retracts, you will hear a ratcheting sound. This indicates the safety belt is now in the Automatic Locking mode. 2. Finally, pull on any excess webbing to tighten the lap portion around the child restraint. Any seat belt system will loosen with time, so check the belt occasionally, and pull it tight if necessary. In the rear seat, you may have trouble tightening the lap/shoulder belt on the child restraint because the buckle or latch plate is too close to the belt path opening on the restraint. Chrysler 200 2011, Fluid Level Check – 2.4L Engine Use the following procedure to check the automatic transmission fluid level properly: 1. Park the vehicle on level ground. 2. Run the engine at curb idle speed for a minimum of 60 seconds. 3. Apply the parking brake fully. 4. Place the shift lever momentarily into each gear posi- tion ending with the lever in PARK. 5. Wipe the area around the dipstick clean to eliminate the possibility of dirt entering the transmission. 6. Remove the dipstick and determine if the fluid is hot or cold. At about 6 to 12 in (15 to 30 cm) above the latch plate, grasp and twist the belt webbing 180 degrees to create a fold that begins immediately above the latch plate. 3. Slide the latch plate upward over the folded webbing. The folded webbing must enter the slot at the top of the latch plate. 4. Continue to slide the latch plate up until it clears the folded webbing. ADDING FUEL Fuel Filler Cap (Gas Cap) The gas cap is behind the fuel filler door, on the left rear quarter panel of the vehicle. If the gas cap is lost or damaged, be sure the replacement cap is for use with this vehicle. After removing the gas cap, place the gas cap tether cable over a hook on the inside of the fuel door.
