  • Toshiba TOSVERT VF-AS1 Series, E6581301 A-24 1 ■ Panel designing taking into consideration the effects of noise The inverter generates high frequency noise. When designing the control panel setup, consideration must be given to that noise. Examples of measures are given below. ・Wire so that the main circuit wires and the control circuit wires are separated. Do not place them in the same conduit, do not run them parallel, and do not bundle them. ・Provide shielding and twisted wire for control circuit wiring. ・Separate the input (power) and output (motor) wires of the main circuit. Do not place them in the same conduit, do not run them parallel, and do not bundle them. ・Ground the inverter

  • Toshiba TOSVERT VF-AS1 Series, E6581301 N-3 14 ■ Replacement of expendable parts The inverter is composed of a large number of electronic parts including semiconductor devices. The following parts deteriorate with the passage of time because of their composition or physical properties. The use of aged or deteriorated parts leads to degradation in the performance or a breakdown of the inverter. To avoid such trouble, the inverter should be checked periodically. Note: Generally, the life of a part depends on the ambient temperature and the conditions of use. The life spans listed below are applicable to parts when used under normal environmental conditions. 1) Cooling fan The fan, w
