Schumacher XM1-5, 10 Maintain Mode When the CHARGED LED is lit, the charger has started Maintain Mode. In this mode, the charger keeps the battery fully charged by delivering a small current when necessary. If the battery voltage drops below a preset level, the charger will go back into Charge Mode until the battery voltage returns to the full charge level, at which point the charger will return to Maintain Mode. Schumacher XM1-5, 12 TROUBLESHOOTING16. PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE REASON/SOLUTION Charger will not turn on when properly connected. AC outlet is dead. AC POWER LED is not lit. Poor electrical connection. AC POWER LED is not lit. Severely discharged, but otherwise good, battery. Clips are not making a good connection to the battery. CONNECTED LED is not lit. Batteries generate 2.1 explosive gases during normal battery operation. For this reason, it is of utmost importance that you follow the instructions each time you use the charger. To reduce the risk of a battery explosion, follow these instructions and those 2.2 published by the battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of any equipment you intend to use in the vicinity of the battery. Schumacher XM1-5, 25 Carga anulada Si no se puede completar la carga normalmente, la carga se anulará. Cuando se anule la carga, la salida del cargador se apagará y se ilumina el LED CARGANDO . Si el cargador detecta una batería sulfatada cambiará a un modo especial de funcionamiento diseñado para estas baterías.
