  • Sharp CD-RW5000, 28 CD-R Operation Recording to a CD-R or a CD-RW ■ Recording from CDs 1 Press the POWER button to turn the power on. 2 Press the CD button and load the desired CD(s). 3 Press the CD-R/CD-RW 77 77 7 button. 4 Place the CD-R or CD-RW disc on the CD-R/CD-RW tray, label side up. 5 Press the CD-R/CD-RW 77 77 7 button to close the tray. CD-R or CD-RW ● While the system reads the CD-R or CD-RW disc, mark flashes. Wait until it lights up. 6 Press the REC MODE button and select the desired CD using the jog dial.   • Sharp CD-RW5000, 18 Playback Listening to a CD (CDs) ■ To play discs in turn (from Disc 1 to Disc 6) 1 Press the POWER button to turn the power on. 2 Press the CD button. 3 Press the DISC 1 7 7 7 7 7 button to open the disc tray 1. 4 Place the CD on the disc tray 1, label side up. ● Be sure to place 3" (8 cm) CD in the middle of the disc trays. 5 Press the DISC 1 7 7 7 7 7 button to close the disc tray 1. ● The music schedule will display only the number of tracks on the disc. ● If the CD contains more than 20 tracks, “ C ” will appear. 6 You can place discs on the trays
