Sharp DV-L70BL, GB 44 To make TV MODE SET setting 1 Press SETUP. • This displays the DVD SET UP screen. 2 Use " and ' to select “TV MODE SET”. 3 Use \ and | to select the screen type (see page 43). 4 Press ENTER to register the setting. • This returns to the startup screen. • Never open the DVD SET UP screen while a playback operation is in progress. If a disc is playing, stop playback first. • If you select 16:9 while a 4:3 TV is connected, playing a 16:9 disc displays a vertical image screen. AUTO ...... Display indicators appear for about three seconds and then disappear. ON .......... Display indicators remain displayed. OFF ......... Display indicators are not displayed. • With some discs, chapter numbers and elapsed play time may not appear. You can select “AUTO”, “ON”, or “OFF” as the display mode. Other settings can be made using either the remote control unit or the control panel.
