• Whirlpool FT 337 - GUIDE, 17 GB w JET PREHEAT USE THIS FUNCTION TO preheat the empty oven. DO NOT PLACE FOOD before or during preheating in the oven. It may be burned from the intense heat. PREHEATING is always done with the oven empty. q PRESS THE JET PREHEAT BUTTON repeatedly to set the preferred temperature . w PRESS THE START BUTTON. O NCE THE PREHEATING PROCESS HAS BEEN STARTED the temperature can eas- ily be adjusted by pressing the jet preheat button. • Whirlpool FT 337 - GUIDE, 6 GB START PROTECTION / CHILD LOCK THIS AUTOMATIC SAFETY FUNCTION IS ACTIVATED ONE MINUTE AFTER the oven has returned to “stand by mode“. (The oven is in “stand by” when the 24-hour clock is displayed or if the clock has not been set, when the display is blank). T HE DOOR MUST BE OPENED AND CLOSED e.g. putting food into it, before the safety lock is released. Else the display will show “DOOR“. d OOR KITCHEN TIMER USE THIS FUNCTION when you need a kitchen timer to measure ex- act time for various purposes such as cooking eggs or letting the dough rise before baking etc. q PRESS THE CLOCK BUTTON. w TURN T

• 10 GB JET DEFROST USE THIS FUNCTION for defrosting Meat, Poultry, Fish, Vegetables and Bread. JET Defrost should only be used if the net weight is between 100 g- 2.5 kg. ALWAYS PLACE THE FOOD on the glass turntable. q PRESS THE JET DEFROST BUTTON repeatedly to select food class. (see table) w TURN THE ADJUST KNOB to set the weight of the food. e PRESS THE STA

SOME FOOD CLASSES REQUIRE the food to be added after preheating. In these cases the oven will stop and prompt you to perform the needed action. IF THE DOOR ISN’T OPENED AT THIS TIME (within 2 minutes) the oven will stop and go to stand by mode. Ope

• Whirlpool FT 337 - GUIDE, 9 GB THIS FUNCTION IS USED for quick reheating of food with a high water content such as clear soups, co ee or tea. JET START q PRESS THE START BUTTON. THIS FUNCTION AUTOMATICALLY STARTS with maximum microwave power level and the cooking time set to 30 seconds. Each additional press increases the time with 30 seconds. You may also alter the time by turning the adjust knob to increase or decrease the time after the function has started. D URING OPERATION you can switch the Grill element on/o by pressing the Grill button. The Max. possible microwave power level when us- ing the Grill is limited to a factory-preset level. The Plug is properly inserted in the wall socket. The Door is properly closed. Check your Fuses and ensure that there is power available. Check that the oven has ample ventilation. Wait for 10 minutes, then try to operate the oven once more. Open and then close the door before you try again. T HIS IS TO AVOID unnecessary calls for which you will be char

TURNTABLE SUPPORT USE THE TURNTABLE SUPPORT under the Glass turntable. Never put any oth- er utensils on the turntable sup- port. Fit the turntable support in the oven.  GLASS TURNTABLE USE THE GLASS TURNTABLE with all cooking meth- ods. It collects the dripping juic- es and food particles that other- wise would stain and soil the in- terior of the oven. Place the Glass turntable on the turntable support.  ENSURE THAT THE UTENSILS YOU USE are oven proof and allow microwaves to

D O NOT LEAVE THE OVEN DOOR OPEN for long periods when the Grill is in operation, as this will cause a drop in temperature. D O NOT USE PLASTIC utensils when grilling. They will melt. Items of wood or paper are not suitable either. E NSURE THAT THE UTENSILS used are microwave safe and heat resis- tant when you use this function. Place the utensil on the glass turntable. I F YOU COOK LARGE GRATINS which require stopped turntable rotation, then turn the dish after approximately half the cooking time. This is necessary for getting colour on the whole top surface. q PRESS TH

• Whirlpool FT 337 - GUIDE, 7 GB PAUSE OR STOP COOKING TO PAUSE COOKING: THE COOKING CAN BE PAUSED to check, turn or stir the food by opening the door. The setting will be maintained for 10 minutes. I F YOU DON’T WANT TO CONTINUE COOKING: REMOVE THE FOOD, close the door and press the STOP button. T O CONTINUE COOKING: CLOSE THE DOOR and press the Start button ONCE. The cooking is resumed from where it was paused. PRESSING THE START BUTTON TWICE will in- crease the time by 30 seconds. A BEEP WILL SIGNAL once a minute for 10 minutes when the cooking is  nished. Press the STOP button or open the door to cancel the signal. NOTE: The oven will only hold the settings for 60 seconds if
