• Neo Car Audio PVL13V9, Installation and operation instructions Chapter 1 – Getting Started 1.1 Subject The Neo ProLink V9 adapter—an integration that links between an iPod (and iPhone) and a car stereo. The ProLink adapter features are: • iPod/iPhone© play, charge and control via EXT2 port. • Bluetooth capability via additional EXT1 port and Bluetooth Dongle for hands free and wireless audio streaming from your mobile phone (sold separately). • AUX-IN 3.5mm connector for many other audio devices such as XM radio, MP3 or DVD player. via EXT1 port (sold separately). • Firmware upgradeable via micro SD card, universal adapter that fits into many car makes. 1.2 Introd

Chapter 2 – General Installation 2.1 Installation location: Most installations will require you to remove the factory radio in order to plug in the vehicle-specific harness. For some vehicles, you will also have the option of connecting the interface to the factory pre-run CD changer cable located in the trunk or glove box. 2.2 Tools needed: In many cases, no special tools are required to remove the stereo. For some stereos, it is better to use car stereo removal tools. Please consult your local car audio shop or your vehicle’s dealership for instructions or assistance as necessary. 2.3 Preparation and adapter installation 1. Rem

The NEO package for Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura includes a Y shaped vehicle cable. In order to connect the interfaces properly please follow to the scheme below. If the car has no NAV or XM leave the female end of the Toyota or Honda (HON1) harness open. 9. Connect Ipod Cable to the EXT2 Port and connect optional AUX or BT to the EXT1 port 10. Once the interface is connected to the radio, you will need to test the operation of the interface before re- assembling the dash. 11. Turn your car stereo on and switch it

• Neo Car Audio PVL13V9, Chapter 2.2. - Volvo 01-06 using VOL01 harness and Posi-Taps Picture 1: VOL01 vehicle specific harness Preparation 1. It is recommended to disconnect the car battery before performing the installation. Turn off the car engine and remove the key from the ignition. 2. Carefully remove the radio from the dash. Installation 3. Locate the vehicle specific cable (VOL01) and blue colored Posi-Tap clips that came with your adapter (picture 1) 4. Connect VOL01 harness to the 8-PIN extension port at the back of the radio. Note: If the port is occupied with the different factory harness – disconnect this harness; insert 8-pin connector to the

Using blue colored Posi-Tap clip provided with your package, connect the constant POWER wire that comes from the main stereo harness (picture 2) to the yellow 12V wire on your VOL01 harness. Refer to scheme 4 below and make sure to create a secure connection between those wires. Scheme 4. How to connect the wires using Posi-Taps. The wire that comes from your stereo is a “CONSTANT / HOT” wire referring to scheme 4. Attention: Don’t forget to strip the free hanging 12V wire on your vehicle speci

Locate black ground wire on VOL01 harness, secure wire to radio / chassis ground. 10. Find a safe accessible place to secure the module. 11. Test the unit operation BEFORE mounting the stereo back into the dashboard. Cycle the ignition and press the SOURCE button until the CD Changer mode is chosen. Stereo should show CD1 Track 1 on a display. If it is not – see troubleshooting section in this manual. 12. If the correct operation of the unit is confirmed mount the stereo back to the dash.
