• Pioneer NextWindow DVD-V7300D, Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of a NextWindow 2403 Touch Panel Overlay. This Guide explains a few simple steps to set up the touch screen to work with the following Pioneer DVD players: Pioneer DVD-V7300D Pioneer DVD-V7400D (Note: For the Pioneer DVD-V5000, email [email protected] for further information.) To install the touch overlay onto a display screen, see the NextWindow Touch Panel Overlay 2403 Installation Guide supplied with the product. In addition to the components that came with the 2403 Touch Panel Overlay, you will need the following: • Computer. For example, a laptop. • NextW

• Pioneer NextWindow DVD-V7300D, Configuring the Touch Screen To configure the touch screen, you need to run NextWindow’s configuration program, USB Config, on a computer that is connected to the touch screen via a USB cable. USB Config is part of the Touch+ software suite, which can be downloaded from NextWindow’s website: http://nextwindow.com/support/software/index.html. 1. Connect the 12 VDC power to the touch screen. 2. Connect the USB cable from the PC to the touch screen. The Windows operating system will automatically detect the USB device. 3. Run USB Config and go to the Serial

This cable can be supplied by NextWindow or a third party. The following table and diagram show the pin number connections (male connector). With all the components connected and switched on (as listed in previous section), press the calibration button on the back of the touch screen.
