Electric Mobility Eco 3, 9 Brakes There are two braking systems. The first works with the finger controls. When the finger control is released the scooter will automatically brake and bring the scooter to a stop. When the scooter stops the automatic brake will engage. This will stop the vehicle r olling forward or backward. When you start the brake will automatically disengage. If the battery should go flat the brakes automatically engage. Note that even when freewheel is selected, a secondary braking system is applied automatically to limit the maximum speed. You may notice this system when moving the scooter in freewheel. Electric Mobility Eco 3, Transporting your Scooter To transport your scooter you will need to dismantle it. Follow these instructions. Do not attempt this unless you ar e capable of lifting 14 kg or 30 lbs. You are advised to wear gloves. 1. Lift off the front basket 2. Remove the seat by lifting it off the seat post while lifting the seat swivel lever. A small rotation is sometimes necessary to free the seat. 3. Electric Mobility Eco 3, 13 Assembling your Scooter following Transportion After removing your scooter from a vehicle and placing it on level ground, assemble it as follows: 1. Undo the knurled knob, raise the tiller into the upright position and secur e by tightening the knob. 2. Manoever the front part to join the rear chassis, carefully aligning the pins so that they are postioned over the rear cups and press down on the front chassis until it clicks into place. 3. Check that the chassis release catch is in the locked postion and that the two halves are securely locked together. 4. Refit the battery box

Rotate the knurled knob anti-clockwise suf ficiently for the retaining serrations to allow the tiller to move. Lower the tiller so that it is in its lowest position. Rotate the knurled knob clockwise and ensur e that it is tight and the retaining serrations are fully engaged. Engage the tiller steering lock by pulling the catch upwards. Ensure it is locked in position. The tiller can be adjusted to achieve a comfortable driving position. Visually check the tyres for damage. 3. Check the steering moves freely. 4. Check that the Tiller is secure and that the tiller rotation knob is tight. 5. Check that the Tiller lock is not engaged. 6. Check the front chassis is securely attached to the rear chassis. 5. Check that the Seat is located correctly and locked. 6.
