• Hartmann DS6, 4 Adjusting Rinse A id Dispenser The rins e aid dispe ns er ha s six or four s ett ings. Al ways star t with the d ispens er set o n "4". I f spots and p oor dryin g are a p rob lem, incre ase t he amo unt of r inse aid d ispensed b y removin g the di spenser li d an d rot ating t he d ial to "5". If the dishes st il l are not dr yi ng pr operly o r are show sp ots , a dj ust t he di al to t he n ext highe r lever un til your dish es a re spot-f ree. The recom men ded setting is "4". Protect Again st Freezing 1.Cut off the electrical power to the dishwasher. 2.Turn off the w at er suppl y an d disco nnect the wat er inl et pi pe from the wate r val ve. 3.Drain the water from the inlet pipe an d water valve. (Use a pan to catch the water) 4.Reconnect the water i nl et pipe t o the wa te r valve

Mechanical indicator Check the rinse aid level Load the baskets Select a programme Close the door, t urn on the water tap and press the St art/Reset button. The machine will start working after a bout 10 seconds. We s uggest that you plac e lar ge i tems and items th at are t he m ost di ff icult to cl ean into the l owe r bas ket such as: pots, pans, lids, serving dishes and bowls, as shown in the figure below.
