Empire M2, 1. First use or a er a long period of disuse 1.1 Fill the water tank with fresh, still water. 1.2 Plug in the machine and turn it on. 1.3 The buttons and alarm indicator light will blink simultaneously. 1.4 Place an ample container under the dispensing spout. 1.5 Press one of the co ee buttons. Wait for the machine to complete the priming cycle and ll with water. 1.6 At the end of this operation, empty out the water from the used capsule bin. 2. Turning on the machine 2.1 Fill the water tank with fresh, still water.
Empire M2, 2ND DESCALING SIGNAL - DISABLING 3.2 When the indicator lights blinks alternately (RED and ORANGE) and the appliance emits 3 beeps, it is necessary to carry out a descaling cycle (see chapter 11.) Empire M2, 10. Daily maintenance 10.1 Make sure the lever is lowered. 10.2 Remove the drip tray and used capsule bin. 10.3 Li the capsule bin; empty and rinse it out. 10.4 Remove the grill. Empty the drip tray and rinse out with fresh water. 10.5 Remove the water tank. Empty and rinse the tank. The water tank is NOT dishwasher safe. Empire M2, 11.5 Place a container (at least 250 ml) under the co ee dispensing spout. 11.6 Make sure the lever is lowered. 11.7 Keep the espresso and lungo buttons pressed down and simultaneously turn on the machine by pressing the power on/o switch. 11.8 Press the button to start a descaling cycle. (Both button and red and orange led are ashing.) 11.9 The machine delivers descaling solution at intervals.
