The schedule can be configured to back up 24 hours of video, or during a specified time only. Configuring Network Type You can set the system to be in DHCP mode (the router assigns the DVR IP), or in Static IP mode (the DVR IP is fixed). To change the network type: 1. Click the DHCP, or STATIC IP checkbox. • If you select DHCP, the router assigns your DVR an IP address. • If you select STATIC IP, beside the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway fields, enter the appropriate IP numbers. 2.
