  • Minuteman Pro 700, 2 Thank you for purchasing a Minuteman power protection product. It has been designed and manufactured to provide many years of trouble free service. Please read the manual before installing your Pro Series UPS as it provides the information that should be followed during installation and maintenance of the UPS and batteries allowing you to correctly set up your system for the maximum safety and performance. The DB9 connector is used for UPS monitoring and control through a computer’s serial port (see section 3). This tone will be repeated every hour until the battery passes a self test.
