Answer the call by pressing the On button or activating the hybrid from your remote console control (if ap- plicable). This routes the call through the hybrid, and the green On LED illuminates.   • Comrex DH30, Comrex Corporation 22 seCtion 5 Customizing your system The Caller Processing menu category in the LCD panel includes six sub- menu items for controlling various facets of the caller audio. EQ (Equalizer) — The equalizer function is used to modify the tonal qual- ity of the caller audio. The basic function is a simple three-band graphic equalizer. The adjustments to each band determine how much adjustment is made to the caller audio signal. When active, the caller equalizer will have the following characteristics: • LowBand = 250 Hz – 715 Hz • MidBand = 715 Hz – 1,645 Hz • HiBand = 1,645 Hz – 3,500 Hz Adjustment in each band is f

The SEnd meter indicates the level of the audio sent to the caller. The input gain should be set so that the average send level is at 0 dBU with occasional peaks to +4 dBU. The CAllEr meter indicates the level of the audio being received by the hy- brid. Caller processing (compressor, EQ, gain and the other caller process- ing parameters) is reflected in the CAllEr meter reading. Volume �

First, select the preset (Preset 1, Preset 2, or Preset 3).
