Make sure the silver locking pin engages, then close the quick release securely to hold the mast in place. See the next section of this manual for more information on properly tightening quick release clamps. 2. Remove the two bolts holding the top cap onto the steering mast. Lay the handlebar on the steering mast, then replace the top cap and tighten the two bolts securely and evenly (7Nm (62 in-lbs)). Most important are the front wheel axle nuts, any nuts or bolts around the rear brake, the motor, and the rear wheel. Make sure the brake levers and throttle are secure on the handlebars; if they can be twisted out of alignment, their mounting bolts need to be tightened. 4.
