Cisco IE-3000-8TC, CHAPTER 24 Diagnostics Settings GUI: Cisco Business Edition 3000 Administrative Interface The Diagnostics page allows you to run diagnostics for your system, gather diagnostic information for your system, and download the diagnostic information. On the Diagnostics page, you can collect logs, enable or disable loopback for T1/E1 interfaces, and download the USB diagnostics file. Cisco IE-3000-8TC, DescriptionSetting By default, the gateway sends Backward Group-A-3 (address complete, change over to Group-B) after DNIS/ANI collection. When a switch sends the Group-II category, the gateway sends a Group-B answer signal and connects. If Group-A answer signal (A-6) is configured, the gateway does not send A-3 after address collection. It sends A-6 and connects. The default value is B1 for the Brazil or Mexico country pack and B6 for the Saudi Arabia country pack. Answer Signal Specify the billing category that the gateway sends when it receives A6. Cisco IE-3000-8TC, Operator Assisted and Transit Network Dialing does not always work Problem When calls are routed through gateway of another site, operator assisted and transit network dialing will not always work. If there is more than one site in your system and all the local gateways are in use, calls are routed through a gateway in another site if both the following conditions are satisfied. • One or more gateways are in different sites • Gateway usage option is set to All Gateways or Custom so that nonlocal gateways can be used for routing your calls Solution Set gateway usage for the site hosting the calling phone to Local Gateways.
