8 Setup 9 Setup Setup Power Your Clock Radio Install Backup Batteries Install two AAA alkaline batteries (not supplied) to provide backup power to maintain the correct clock time in the event of an AC power interruption. 1. Set the hour. Select previous/next track. Fast forward/rewind a track. SOURCE Select sound source: Radio, Aux, iPod. PRESET Store FM stations. Select preset radio station. TIME SET Enter/Exit time setting mode. Stop playback. Play or pause playback. / Volume up/down. Set the minutes. 1 Turn on or switch to standby. SNOOZE/ SLEEP/ DIMMER Silence the alarm for 10 to 60 minutes when the alarm sounds. Adjust sleep period.
AUVIO 4000041, 12 Operation 13 Operation Basic Operation Activate/Deactivate Standby Mode 1. In standby mode, press G to turn on the clock radio. 2. After one second, the system automatically enters iPod mode. 3. Press G again to switch to standby mode. The current clock time appears on the display. nNotes: When you turn on the system for the first time, iPod mode activates by default. AUVIO 4000041, 14 Operation 15 Operation Store and Recall Preset Stations You can store up to 10 preset FM stations. In radio play mode, 1. Press or to select a station. 2. Press and hold PRESET for 2 seconds to enter program mode. PRESET displays and the memory digits flash. The clock radio will exit preset mode automatically if no buttons are pressed within 4 seconds. 3. Press PRESET repeatedly to select a desired preset location (01 to 10) to store the station. 4. If your iPod is playing, the clock radio will play the iPod automatically. Otherwise press play on your iPod or on the clock radio or remote control to start playback. 3. Press or to adjust the volume. 4. Press or to skip the track forward / backward. Press and hold or to fast forward / backward. 5. Press to pause the playback. Press again to resume playback. The clock digits flash. 2. Press or to set the hour. Then press or to set the minutes. Make sure to set AM/PM correctly. 3. Briefly press or AL to confirm. 4. The SLEEP indicator and 15 appear in the display for five seconds indicating that the radio will turn off after 15 minutes. 2.
