  • AUVIO 33-281, 4 4 2 Install batteries n Note: When using rechargeable batteries, for best charging performance use ONLY NiMH batteries. 1. Insert three AAA alkaline or rechargeable batteries (neither included), matching the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside. 2. Switch ALK/RCH to ALK for alkaline or RCH for rechargeable batteries. w Warning: Never install alkaline batteries with the ALK/RCH switch set to RCH.   • AUVIO 33-281, 6 6 4 Use your headphones Select a location which provides the best performance. 1. Press 1to turn on the transmitter. The power LED lights red. 2. Slide Power On/Off to On to turn on the headphones. The power LED lights blue. 3. Set the headphone volume to minimum. 4. Turn on the audio source, and gradually increase the volume to a comfortable level. nNotes:  Place your transmitter away from strong light; avoid pointing it at a window where sunlight might prevent optimum reception.  Remove objects between the transmitter and headphones. �

  • 7 7  If you connect the transmitter to an audio source headphone jack, set the audio source’s volume to the middle position. Then adjust VOLUME on the headphones to the desired level.  Turn off the headphones before turning off the transmitter.
