Check battery voltage each month during storage and recharge as needed to maintain a full charge. See page 118. NOTE: Battery charge can be maintained by using a Polaris Battery Tender charger or by charging about once a month to make up for normal self- discharge. Battery Tender can be left connected during the storage period, and will automatically charge the battery if the voltage drops below a pre-determined point. See page 128

Avoid unnecessary changes in speed or direction. 3. Avoid steep hills (15° maximum). NOTE: If ascending a steeper grade is unavoidable, engage all-wheel drive before ascending. 4. If the vehicle stalls while climbing a hill, apply the brakes. Push the latch plate into the buckle until it clicks. The latch plate must slide smoothly into the buckle. A click indicates that it's securely latched. 2. Push the red release latch in the middle of the buckle to make sure it releases freely. 3. Pull each seat belt completely out and inspect the full length for any damage, including cuts, wear, fraying, dirt, debris or stiffness.
