Before removing the battery, drain the battery by removing the AC adaptor and using the speaker only with the battery. Take out the built-in battery for recycling. Do not open the cabinet other than when disposing of the speaker. 1. Turn off the speaker and unplug the AC adaptor. 2. Detach the cover from the bottom of speaker to remove the built-in battery pack. Detach the 4 rubber feet and 2 sheets on the bottom. Remove the

• Sony SRS-X5, Personal Audio System SRS-X5 Connecting with a paired BLUETOOTH device 1. Turn on the speaker. The (power) indicator lights up in green. 2. Tap the (BLUETOOTH) PAIRING button. The (BLUETOOTH) indicator begins to flash in white. When you tap the (BLUETOOTH) PAIRING button, the speaker tries to make BLUETOOTH connection with the last connected BLUETOOTH device. If the device is nearby, the BLUETOOTH connection is established automatically and the (BLUETOOTH) indicator stays lit. When you want to connect another BLUETOOTH device, terminate the current BLUETOOTH connectio

Keep touching the smartphone on the N-Mark of the speaker until the smartphone responds. If the speaker is off, the (BLUETOOTH) indicator begins to flash when the smartphone touches it. When the BLUETOOTH connection is established, the speaker turns on automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions to establish the connection.
