• Radio Shack 21-1177, 2 MOUNTING THE CLIP HANGER You can han g the microphone on your CB’s existin g mountin g bracket, or use the supplied clip han g er and screws. To mount the clip han g er, use it as a tem- plate and drill two holes at the desired lo- cations on the vehicle’s dashboard. Then use the supplied screws to mount the clip han g er on the dashboard. Caution: Be sure not to drill into objects behind the dashboard. CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE Plu g your microphone’s 5-pin connector into your transmittin g device’s plu g . This information is provided in case you need to rewire the plu g to be compatible with CB brands other than Radio Shack, or with various business band, ham, and broadcast trans- ceivers and PA equipment. Important: Do not cut the microphone’s wires. If you cut any wire, you cannot obtain a refund or exchan g e on this product. Radio Shack will provide warranty service if you cut a wire and find the product is defective. .
