  • CDA pc88, 8 Quick Freeze Function The quick freeze function can be used to freeze large quantities of fresh food as quickly as possible. This function can be set for a specific duration before automatically switching o for your convenience. For best results, switch the quick freeze function on 12 hours prior to introducing large quantities of food to be frozen. To switch the quick freeze function on • Touch the “OPTION” button several times, until the quick freeze light “ ” flashes. • Within five seconds of

In the event that a door is left open for more than approx. two minutes the appliance will start beeping and the “ALARM” light will illuminate; this continues until all doors are properly shut.

It is important to keep the channel clear at all times. The defrosted water is collected in the evaporating tray at the back of the appliance. Defrosting the Freezer Do not use heaters or defrosting sprays in this appliance. • Never use any metallic or sharp objects to remove the ice as this could damage the lining. • The freezer compartment should be defrosted regularly to ensure the most ecient running of the freezer. • Once the ice is more than 5 mm thick, the free

  • CDA pc88, 12 Care and Cleaning Always disconnect the appliance from the power before any cleaning or maintenance. • The refrigerator and freezer sections should be cleaned using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water. • Do not use abrasive products or detergents. After washing, rinse and dry thoroughly. • Clean the shelves and balconies separately by hand using soap and water. Do not put them in the dishwasher. • The evaporating tray and water drain hole (at the back of the refrigerator compartment) should be cleaned periodically to prevent the defrosted water from collecting inside the refrigerator compartment.
