When the vehicle battery is being replaced, please ensure that there are no open ventilation holes in the vicinity of the positive terminal. If a ventilation hole is open in this area, it must be closed off with a dummy cap, and the ventilation in the vicinity of the negative terminal must be opened. Only use vehicle batteries that allow the fuse box to be mounted above the vehicle battery. In vehicles with an AGM (Absorptive Glass Mat) battery, make sure to have the battery replaced with another AGM battery. An AGM bat

Front airbag system The front airbag system consists of one airbag in the steering wheel and one in the instrument panel on the front passenger side. These can be identified by the word AIRBAG. The front airbag system is triggered in the event of a front-end impact of a certain severity. The ignition must be switched on. Vauxhall Mokka, 190 Vehicle care Use tyre chains only on front wheels. 9 Warning Damage may lead to tyre blowout. Tyre chains are permitted on tyres of size 215/65 R16, 215/60 R17 and 215/55 R18. On tyres of size 215/65 R16 always use fine mesh chains suitable for sport utility vehicles that add no more than 9 mm to the tyre tread and the inboard sides (including chain lock). On tyres of size 215/60 R17 and 215/55 R18 only use special snow chains which are permitted for Vauxhall Mokka and tyres of these sizes. For further information contact a workshop. Vertical coupling load The vertical coupling load is the load exerted by the trailer on the coupling ball. It can be varied by changing the weight distribution when loading the trailer. The maximum permissible vertical coupling load (75 kg) is specified on the towing equipment identification plate and in the vehicle documents. Always aim for the maximum load, especially

Warning triangle Stow the warning triangle below the floor cover in the load compartment. Secure it with the strap. First aid kit Stow the first aid kit in the storage compartment at the left sidewall of the load compartment. Roof rack system Roof rack The roof rack has side rails attached to the roof. The driver accepts full responsibility when driving the vehicle. When using driver assistance systems, always take care regarding the current traffic situation. Cruise control The Cruise control can store and maintain speeds of approx. 20 to 120 mph. Deviations from the stored speeds may occur when driving uphill or downhill. For safety reasons, the cruise control cannot be activated

Liquid gas system 9 Danger Liquid gas is heavier than air and can collect in sink points. Take care when performing work at the underbody in a pit. For painting work and when using a drying booth at a temperature above 60 °C, the liquid gas system must be completely evacuated. Do not make any modifications to the liquid gas system. Towing equipment Do not clean the coupling ball bar with a steam-jet or high-pressure jet cleaner. And then secure it at the left side hook on the bonnet. If the bonnet is opened during an Autostop, the engine will be restarted automatically for safety reasons. Closing Before closing the bonnet, press the support into the holder. Lower the bonnet and allow it to fall into the latch from a low height (20-25 cm). Check that the bonnet is engaged. Screw the compressor air hose to the connection on the sealant bottle. 5. Fit the sealant bottle into the retainer on the compressor. Set the compressor near the tyre in such a way that the sealant bottle is upright. 6. Unscrew valve cap from defective tyre. 7. Screw the filler hose to the tyre valve. 8. The side airbag and curtain airbag systems, the belt pretensioners and all driver airbag systems will remain active. The front passenger airbag system can be deactivated via a key- operated switch on the right side of the instrument panel. Use the ignition key to choose the position: c : front passenger airbags are deactivated and will not inflate in the event of a collision.
