• Resolution RE214T 2GIG, I N S T A L L G U I D E I Smoke Alarm is a fire-protection device that alarms when it detects smoke or temperatures above 135°F (57°C). Features • UL217 and ULC531 listings • Smoke and heat detection • 5 year warranty Quick Start Guide 1. Remove the mounting plate. 2. Pull the battery tab. 3. Restore the mounting plate and twist it fully onto the smoke alarm. Note: Enrollment is possible only if the mounting plate is twisted onto the smoke alarm. 4. Enroll the smoke alarm by placing the panel into wireless enrollment mode and then holding down the smoke’s test button until the smoke alarm beeps. Use a soft bristle brush or the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner to remove dust and cobwebs from the side slots where the smoke enters. If the chamber is degraded it will beep twice every 48 seconds with 2 yellow LED flashes at the same time. If this happens clean the unit.
