External Cable Installation All external interfaces for the Model 1980 Series printer are located at the rear panel (Figure 3-2). External connector signal assignments are defined in Chapter 1. Perform the following steps to connect external cabling. a. Verify that the front panel circuit breaker is in the “off” position. b.
