You must first program the remote to match the remote system of your VCR (refer below for pre-codes). 1, 2. Turn ON your VCR. To switch to VCR pre-coded mode, press and release the VCR button. Hold down the VCR button on the remote and enter the two digit preset code that matches your VCR, as shown below. Release the VCR button. Aim the remote at the VCR and press the POWER button.
