These then can be used on a steam table. Here are a few guidelines to follow in casserole preparation. 1. In preparing your own casseroles or reheating a purchased product, place greatest bulk and largest pieces of food around the edges of the container. Do not overfill casserole or cooking dish. 2. No more than 2 tablespoons of water should be added to frozen vegetables, and no more than ¼ cup to fresh vegetables. 2. These vegetables have been prepared so that they may be held on a steam table. Three (3) ounce single servings may be reheated in seconds if necessary. 3. Seasonings should not be added before cooking. 4.
