All Ethernet Ports (WAN and LAN) are auto MDI/MDIX, meaning you can either use a straight-through or a crossover Ethernet cable. 2. 5 Auto MDI/MDIX LAN ports automatically sense the cable type when connecting to Ethernet-enabled computers for both WAN and LAN. 3. Use this feature to grant access only to approved sites, limit web access based on time or dates, and/or block Internet access for applications like P2P utilities or games.
