Enter the password into the box and click Next. If you wish to use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to connect to the router, you can also press the WPS button on your router at this point to enable the WPS function. When you have established a successful connection to a wireless network, the word Connected will appear next to the name of the network to which you are connected.

This means that wireless clients can connect to the computer the DWA-131 is plugged into, and share its Internet connection. Note: Using the SoftAP feature will temporarily disable the DWA-131’s wireless client functionality. Note: The SoftAP feature supports a maximum of six wireless clients. To begin, ensure that you have installed the SoftAP feature (see Installation on page 7 for instructions how to do this). Run the Portable WiFi application on your computer. On Windows, this can be found in the Start menu. The
