When the child-safety is activated, you can still use k and the minute minder. Activating the child-safety device 1. Turn the grill on by pressing k . 2. Press j for 3 seconds. The con- trol lamp for the child-safety lights up. If you attempt to turn the grill on while the child-safety is activated, the control lamps for k and j will light up. Press k again to turn off.
