AV Stumpfl SC MASTER 6, Trouble shooting Finding faults The SC MASTER 6/16 may only be one of a variety of differ- ent components within your installation. Any possible errors may, therefore, also be caused by other devices - which doesn't make troubleshooting any easier. In such a case it can be an advantage to understand what is happening. Don't panic and try a systematic approach to the problem. • Try to find out about the interaction between the devices for the particular application. • Check whether the necessary cables are connected. • Switch on all necessary devices and select the corre- spond

These are the individual steps for displaying text 1. In the Wings Platinum Device Pool, add a serial port under "Add device....." for the SC MASTER 6/16. 2. In the Properties Dialog set the address of this "serial port" to 1/2 =

ÎThe CF card could not detected after insertion. You can repeat this step or switch the SC MASTER 6/16 off and on again with the CF card remaining in the slot. When starting up it is easier for the SC MASTER 6/16 to detect the CF card. When copying presentation data onto CF card the follow- ing message appears in Wings Platinum: "Not enough memory" although the CF card is new or empty. Î Presumably the CF

By plac- ing a checkmark next to "Enable SC Net feedback", you can have the contents of variables displayed on the Con- trol Panel. More about this in chapter Variables. For reasons of compatibility with older units of control technology there is also an DLC port. When the DLC port is used for programming, the DLC data signal is generated at the CUE-OUT connector of the SC MASTER 6/16. Compared to the SC NET port, however, the DLC port o
